First of all, there is a
key shop in the yellow pages–plus several other businesses that have
“key” in their title and have absolutely nothing to do with keys–but I
didn’t have to got to it because after all the hussle and bussle a
spare key turned up. It’s funny how life works out that way sometimes,
I guess you just have to laugh.
This past week was better
than the week before but super busy–I felt like all of my classes
decided it was time to assign something for a major part of our grade.
Plus, I had to miss a class for soccer so I was trying to work extra
hard so I didn’t get behind. Thankfully, I have some good friends who
helped fill me in on what I missed and will do so again this week when
I miss part of class for another game. Also long bus rides provide
ample study time–Bri, one of my teammates, has the same professor for
marketing so the whole way home from Findlay we studied for a test the
next day. I think it made a big difference even though our brains were
pretty much fried by the time we pulled in the parking lot.
We
had a home game on Saturday and my younger brother and one of my
professors came to watch! And after our post-game feast, I got some of
Jen’s mom’s famous Chicken Rice! Everyone on the team loves it, so she
makes it for every home game–I will be eating it at study tables and
simultaneously making everyone jealous, in about 4 hours! haha– I had a
big paper to write and a take home test to work on too. I am trying to
have better time management this semester and so far I think it’s good.
I spread out the huge masses of work I had as best I could so I
wouldn’t be stressed when I went to my friend’s party Saturday night!
This
school week is shaping up to be less busy…I hope. Today has been good:
A reporter from the Columbus Dispatch came and talked to my News
Writing class and it was really interesting, and of course I threw
frisbee with Ashley during break time for Psych so all is well! Now I’m
off to practice–second conference match-up on Wednesday and another
home game Saturday!
