I am freaking out like
I’m sure most college students do from time to time. It is midterms
week and I don’t have a lot of big tests just TONS of time consuming
things that Have to get done, and NO time! I think I would rather have
a huge test in each class and I am not the best test taker. I was
trying to plan how I can do all my homework tonight so that I can sleep
tom. night before our conference game against MVNU Wednesday and its
just not all going to get done tonight–physically impossible. I already
had one thing partially done and erased on me…AAHHH~ ok anyways this
weekend is Fall Break and once I get there I am home free. Actually
once I make it back to my bed Wednesday night I am home free. Most
everything I have is due tom. or Wed. Then this weekend I am hoping
I’ll get to see some friends from home that are also on Fall Break
(which is mon. and tues. off of school for us)!
I got to see a
few friends over the weekend but we were all busy and swamped with work
so we just had time to get together for lunch. I love those girls–we
can pack so much fun and nonsense into one meal, it’s not fair. It was
a good stress reliever. It was also Homecoming weekend but I didn’t get
to do much because I was so busy. The football team creamed Malone and
there was of course free food and t-shirts (which I am still trying to
track down) and games for little kids. They had like a miny fair for
kids it was pretty cool, from what I saw between soccer it was
entertaining several little brothers/sisters of football players and
other students. We tied our game Sat. night against Ohio Wesleyan after
double overtime and we beat Malone last tues.!
The weather
for Malone was like an August heatwave and then on Wed. it was still
really hot and a huge storm moved through Ohio. It was weird which
parts of town got hit hard and then how a couple blocks away it was all
quiet. My neighborhood got hit hard. Two of our windows busted from
hail and one cracked but all of my neighbors windows on the back of his
house busted. My car looks like a golf-ball from all the dents in it.
Apparently there was baseball size hail in some parts of town-I can’t
even imagine, ours was a little bigger than golf balls and I’ve never
seen anything like it. The ground was covered in ice. Normally I don’t
think about Ohio as having weather that extreme, even though our
weather tends to be really weird. By Sat. I was buying under armor for
our game and I could see my breath. Today’s practice was really hot
again and Fri. it’s supposed to snow…I could have done without all the
damage but typically it doesn’t hail in the Fall. I do enjoy that in
Ohio we have four distinct seasons=random thought–it just throws me off
sometimes how much it fluxiates. I’m tired and rambling…back to
homework!
