Black Friday

I hope everybody had a Happy Thanksgiving!  I went to my aunt and uncle's house and ate way too much since everything was delicious!  The rest of the day we just chilled.  We sat around outside by the fire, ate more, and drew names for who we will buy presents for at Christmas :)  Then I watched Grey's last night!  I was a little disappointed that it had been advertised as a two hour special and it was only an hour and ten minutes.  Today my brother woke me up at 5:00 to ask me a question because he was getting ready to go shopping.  I didn't even know he was going--but he is always on top of his Christmas shopping.  He hit some good sales this morning and will probably be done with allll his shopping by the end of this weekend.  I on the other hand, will probably still be shopping on Christmas Eve.  I went shopping the past few years on the Friday after Thanksgiving with my friend Cait, the best shopper I know, and it is crazy!  There are so many ruthless shoppers.  I think we are going to try and go later this weekend. 

When my brother got back he woke the rest of of us up.  Breakfast consists of leftovers ... there are three kinds of pie (pumpkin, pecan, apple) and JELL-O salad that I was up until one in the morning Wednesday making because my brother wanted it.  Breakfast of Champions.  I refused to listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving so maybe today I will listen to a little while I shop.  There are just a couple stores with sales I am going to hit today for some particular gifts.  

This might sound weird but I really want to go running.  It turns out I hurt my knee in our last game.  I saw the doctor earlier this week and he said it should heal on its own if I don't run/jump/cut etc. for another four weeks!  It has already been three weeks--this will be hard.  I already couldn't jump in the leaves I raked last month!  This probably means no indoor soccer this year either.  I'm bummed because we always have a lot of fun in our indoor league.  One of our friends helps "coach" and typically we have a few loyal fans.  I guess I will help "coach" this year too.  Well, everyone have a good long weekend!  I'll write more in a few days...
