FREE Tree!
My roommate was trying to win a free Christmas tree from 97.1 on the radio allll week long last week. Finally, on Friday she tried calling-in for the last give away and she won! It is getting delivered right to our house on Wednesday! She called and told me while I was at practice on Friday. 27 recruits came! They scrimmaged with our team. I still can’t play so I helped shag balls. It was freezing and sooo windy! I passed a Meijer’s that night and their whole outdoor metal greenhouse was twisted and bent up. The top of the field goal post on the football practice field blew sideways. It was pretty crazy.
Saturday I was glad that the weather was a little better because I helped with a football open house. There were seven of us Admissions Ambassadors, and we all took people out for tours. I gave tours all summer because, since I live close to school, I worked there. I am in the background of one of the pictures hanging in a hallway we pass on tours. I always walk with my back to it on tours and I must have walked by it almost everyday for 2 months and not seen it until someone on a tour pointed it out. Right now there is a picture of me on the school’s website too. It is a lot better than the one on the wall. It’s up because I was named an NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete! Speaking of pictures hopefully the ones I meant to show up on last Friday’s blog show up below…(fingers crossed).

Ashley with her birthday fish—Ralphie! My friend Ryan had his birthday this past weekend. He came to Columbus to celebrate--it was great to see him, it had been way too long! Also I made two more bubble tea converts over the weekend! Good weekend-now I have to crack down for my final projects/exams.
