O Christmas Tree!

WOW---our house reaks!  Turns out the tree stand has been leaking and we've been watering and watering it and today the carpet is soaked.  The sap from the tree mixed with the water sitting under plastic ... well let's just say we had to call up our friends who work with carpet and get some professional help.

Besides that humorous incident, I've been spending time with family, and trying to Christmas shop since finals.  My cousins flew up from Texas and spent the weekend here.  It was a lot of fun hanging out with them--it has been 5 years since the last time they were here!  And I got a couple of huge bags of cookies from my Grandma!  All kinds but snicker doodle and peanut butter chocolate chip are my favorite. They took my Grandma with them when they flew back to surprise my uncle.  She'll be having fun in the sun over Christmas and her Birthday (Christmas day)!  We are making more cookies when she gets back!  I saw my other Grandma and Grandpa too--just in time, they left for Florida today ... they've become one of those old couples that heads south for the winter.  Hopefully, I will get a chance to go visit them!  And I didn't get to go but my aunt graduated from Ohio Dominican on Saturday!  Congratulations Aunt Mo!!!  She came back to get her Masters.  We won't be able to compare grades anymore...

I went shopping with Cait over the weekend.  It was fun even though we didn't get as much accomplished as we wanted--I still have some shopping to do!  O well, there's time... I do this every year.  I went to an Ugly Christmas Sweater party Thursday.  It was soo much fun!  I looked pretty bad.  Maybe I will post some pics later--they're funny.   Well, Merry Christmas everyone!!!
