Cleaning and Eating
It's been a looooonnnnng week. Classes are picking up a little bit but it's the other stuff on top of that that makes things rough. I worked to get one thing off my mind this morning...my roommate and I cleaned house...boy, was that a task long overdue. I put away that last of the Christmas decorations..yea, I know, thats bad. And by the way, about our beautiful Christmas tree--I think we waited one week too long to take it down. It has been down at the curb for over two weeks and no one has picked it up. We should figure out a new place to dispose of that soon...hmmm
I did get to go on another road trip yesterday! I went to my friend's sister's wedding. It was beautiful! And we had a lot fun at the reception. I was worried about my car on the ride home last night--the drive was a few hours long and my tires were a little low on air and when I tried to fill them up at a gas station, I could hear the air, yet my tire pressure wasn't going up. The gas station attendant said it was too cold for it to work, exactly what I was afraid of. So I just drove slower on the way home than the way up, and felt good that my AAA membership had been renewed on time.
Good news--everyone in my house went grocery shopping this week (or a couple of our parents did) so we have Food! I swear, our cabinets are either bare or overflowing! Speaking of food, I am going to my friend's place tonight to watch the Super Bowl and there is going to be a ton of food! I can't remember it all but some of it is: cheesy potatoes, toothpick sandwiches, special chip dip, expresso brownies, homemade ice cream sandwiches and on and on. I'm so excited--I hope there are good commercials too--I mean I want to see some of the game even though I'm not a huge fan of either team, but I'm most excited about seeing my friends and pigging out on good football finger food! My friend's boyfriend was going to watch the game with a bunch of guys until he found out about the food--now he's coming to. It should be a good time--I've gotta go get ready!
