It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

It's gorgeous outside!  I just got back from a run/walk around my neighborhood--in a t-shirt and shorts!  There is still some snow melting on my driveway from the other day because it is in the shade, but I am guessing it's close to 60 degrees right now.  My owl thermometer says it's around that but my roommates and I decided the owl was broken a long time ago--we just keep it around because it's old and just seems like it belongs with the house.  **this same thinking is probably the reason I have soo much junk...maybe I will do some Spring cleaning-out this week.  Anyways the great weather reminded me of the Mr. Roger's song-haha.  You know I heard once that Mr. Rogers used to be in the Special Forces with the military!  I'm not sure that that is true, I'm may be perpetuating a rumor, however I like the thought of a retired soldier acting as a Mr. Rogers...

Another thing I planned on doing this week--because it's SPRING BREAK!--was getting rid of our Christmas tree. Yes, Christmas tree.  Yes, I know it is March.  The tree has been on the curb since sometime in January and it never got picked up like all of our neighbors' trees did.  I was thinking maybe it was warm enough for a fire and I could load it up and take it somewhere to burn.  Well I won't get that chance because just as I was coming up the street towards home on my walk...I looked and the tree was gone!   Now I am almost 100% sure it was on the curb yesterday...yesterday the trash went...could they have taken it?!  I dunno--but it is gone.

I had a quiz this morning...it was harder than I expected but I think I did okay.  And now I get an entire week off!  I am looking forward to sleeping in!  And seeing the new episode of Grey's since it has been a re-run the past TWO weeks!  That show, as much as I love it, really bothers me sometimes.  I hope they don't ignore the fact that Meredith almost died like they did the fact that there was a bomb that blew up in the hospital last season.  Ok they didn't completely ignore it because they brought up the bomb guy in this season...that was sarcasm--bringing it up this season doesn't make up for the fact that they leave loose ends in the plot line. Ok that was my rant...moving on---I hope everyone is enjoying their break or the weather if you're not on break yet!  I may try and go frisbee golfing now :)
