All I Want to do is Dance!

It's funny, the past couple of days I have been in a great mood for no particular reason.  I just feel like I've got all this energy, and I've really really been wanting to go dancing for about a week--so tonight I am!  I can't wait!  I'm certainly not saying I can dance, but I LOVE it!

Ok--besides my mood, things have been busy...I went to a conference for one of my classes on Friday and Saturday...and Saturday was my last night dogsitting and the carbon monoxide detector started going off.  Not continually, just a few beeps here and there but since I wasn't sure if that meant it needed a battery or there really was carbon monoxide, I took the dogs to my parents house and we slept there.  My brother's dog liked the company, except they wanted her food instead of their own.  The next morning the other carbon monoxide detector was going off and my friends' got back and said they would probably have the fire dept. come check it out.  I saw a firetruck pass by headed towards their house later that day.  I haven't talked to them to see what they said but I'm curious.  Carbon Monoxide is scary--you can't tell it's there when it is--everyone should invest in a carbon monoxide detector.  I've known a few people who have had their detectors put to use.

I'm glad Grey's has been on for the past few weeks, although I'm not sure that I like it as much as I used to, I'm still going to watch it.  I found out that the trash men did not take our tree--the yard waste men may have.  I'm hoping they did and that one of my neighbor's didn't. I'd feel bad if they just got sick of looking at it and took matters into their own hands...

I'm working on an assignment for my Public Relations Writing class that is about a speaker I heard last week from CAPA (The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts).  We went downtown, if we could, last Monday to meet with her.  It was very interesting learning more about what they do and how they promote different shows or contact reporters.  I don't have time to tell you about it in detail right now but everyone can check out their website www.capa.com.  We have gotten to meet with other people who work in the public relations field besides the woman for CAPA as well.  I really like that aspect of the class because I'm getting a better feel of what type of public relations job I might want to have.  And I am meeting people I can network with.  Maybe one of them will open up an opportunity for an internship!  We'll have to see...and I'll have to take some action of my own if that is going to happen!  For now I'm off to psych class!
