My Birthday!
This a picture from when I donated my hair! My roommate and I had such a fun time together that day. She is on vacation now and missed my birthday. When I was in England, I missed her birthday---So this Saturday, when she gets back, we are going to celebrate both of our birthdays!
Below on the left are Char and Matt from Indiana. Remember I said they surprise visited? Well, I got to see them a few weekends ago when I went to a Beatles Festival, but besides that I didn't think I would see Char until school started. I was really glad they were able to come and spend some time in Columbus! Next to them is my friend Cory at a Movie Tavern. His birthday is two days before mine, so we did some joint celebrating! We went to the Movie Tavern to see Spiderman 3. Actually, I heard about the Movie Tavern from the nice woman who cut my hair. It's a movie theater that got turned into a restaurant/movie theater. The new seats are like big comfy computer chairs and there is a counter across each row so you can eat. There are buttons you push when you want your waiter to come for something like refills. It felt weird talking to a waiter during the movie, but otherwise I liked the idea of ordering/eating real food and not just snacks while we were there.
For my actual birthday... I went to applebee's and then out dancing/singing karaoke! The singing was horrible but my friends made my night a lot of fun! They gave my a special birthday fanny pak--I know that sounds strange, but it was amazing :) It's definitely something you have to see to understand. I wore it all night ...it was decorated and everything--haha. My friend Brittany made me a purse--it's cuter than anything I could have bought! And my parents bought me a sweet hammock. I am trying to figure out if I can find a way to hang it in my yard--I may have to improvise to make it work...
Styling the new haircut with some of my friends that came out for my birthday!!! Steph is the one with me on the right below ...and also the one that I shared a room with in England ...and also the one that broke her arm in the Powder Puff Football game. I went to the doctor's with her the other day and her arm is healing well. I don't think I ever followed up with that--she was able to play in England because she only had to wear a big cast for two weeks. She got a shorter cast just before our trip and was allowed to play with padding on it. She looked like a goofball but I was glad to have her on the field!
I hope you all aren't on picture overload! I guess I just have more time to take them and put them up since it's summer. I have been so lucky this month--I have some great friends and we have been able to get together, which is rare! I'll keep the pictures coming if I think I have some good ones--maybe a few from my trips or the ODU Day ones that I just found...we'll see!
