Harry Potter!

So I love Harry Potter.  I didn't read the books when they first came out, but then a friend told me to try them out and I got hooked!  I refused to see the movies until last year because I liked the books so much and I was afraid the movies would ruin it for me.  Well I got talked into watching those and I really liked them too.  For the fourth movie I went to the opening showtime with one of my best friends and on tues. night we went and saw the fifth movie at midnight with 6 other friends!  Now I am all hyped about the book coming out in a week!  I love seeing the people that get dressed up.  One person got carried around our theater with a broom like she was flying when we were waiting on the movie to start.  We had to spilt into two groups when we sat because there were not 8 sits all together but we met up again afterwards.  And a few of us went to Waffle House :)

One of the girls that went to both was my friend Anna from Germany!  She was a foreign exchange student at my high school for a year and she has been back for the past two weeks visiting!  She got to spend her first Fourth of July here.  We went to the big downtown fireworks, but we both liked my hometown fireworks better the next night.  We all went out for karaoke earlier this week too!  It's too bad she has to leave soon :(

Time has just flown lately!  Anna is leaving soon--my second soccer testing is already this weekend--and then I go on vacation and come back with only 1 week until soccer preseason!  Where did my summer go???  It hasn't been nearly as productive as I hoped--but I figured that would happen.  And it has been a ton of fun!  My friend Kenzey from high school got married last weekend!  I feel old.  It seems like just yesterday we were leaving for college and she was telling me about this guy that wanted to date her even though they just met and she was leaving.  Now she is married and we are going to be seniors!  I hope you all are enjoying summer while you still can!
