SPRING BREAK '08!!!

The view from our car as we pulled up to the strip after our 16 hour drive!  We started in a two door car and switched over to a Ford Escape in Cincy--Thank Goodness--We each only brought one bag, but we were fully packed in.  I couldn't even see Krystal sitting next to me in the back seat from Columbus to there!  I think we were somewhere in Tennessee when we stopped at a gas station and ran into friends from ODU on their way to Panama City.  Totally random and fun.  A bunch of people were driving through Friday night to make it to Florida by Saturday's check-in.

This was the view from our pool and hotel deck.  We were right by the entrance where people drive down on the beach--even ice cream trucks!  It was pretty windy and cool one or two days, but I didn't mind one bit--it was still warmer than home!  We lived in our swimsuits most days and we all got tan!

Happy St. Patty's Day!!!  Me and Steph sporting some cool necklaces from an Irish pub and chowing down with a new friend.  We are with Dilion--a guy who was standing outside of a pizza shop giving pizza away!  He told us and a few others we could have free pizza as long as we paid it forward.  If you haven't seen the movie or heard the theory, pay it forward is when a person does something for 3 other people and then those people are supposed to help 3 people each and if everyone keeps paying the good deeds forward, then lots of people get touched.  I think it's a pretty neat theory and thought this night and Dilion were hilarious!  For me, that's one of the best parts of going on trips to places where lots of other people are (esp. other college kids) ~ you can meet sooo many interesting and cool people, and hopefully share a few laughs :)

I also ran into one of my good friends from high school, Sam!  I found out he was staying really close to where we were staying, so all of us girls got to hang out with him and his friends a few times throughout the week. It was a lot of fun!  I'm so glad I got to go--I'll have to put up some more Spring Break pictures in a couple days ... as usual I've got some last minute homework to go finish for school tom. right now.  I took a little to do on the beach, but that definitely didn't happen!  Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter!  Talk to you soon ~~~
