Wish I was still in Florida...

So the first day back to class was Tues.  I was glad we had Monday off.  We got back at 3:30am Sunday and I'd eaten expresso beans to stay awake in the car and didn't fall asleep until around 5:30.  I didn't do too much that day besides sleep-in and then my brother and I went to our parents' for Easter dinner.  Monday gave me a little bit of a chance to recoop from the trip and go on a second interview at Home Depot.  I took a drug test and my orientation should begin soon!  And guess what workers at Home Depot get?!  That's right--benefits :)

My room is still trashed from packing and halfway unpacking.  We don't have a washer or dryer right now because we're getting newer ones.  I've done some laundry at my parents', but it's still piling up.  Tuesday I went to a Financial Aid Exit Meeting for graduating seniors.  We talked about different ways we can pay off our loans--yippeee :(  Even though they try to make it sound positive how many options we have, it was still depressing ... at least I know I have some new income starting soon.  I talked to someone about another part-time job today too---still open to what's out there; a couple part-time jobs never hurt anybody.  REAL LIFE COUNTDOWN: Under Two Months ... After the "you'll be paying off college for probably at least 10 yrs. of your adult life meeting" my soccer class started and I wasn't there. Yea, I think I left my brain in Florida ... Completely forgot that it was starting.  Actually, I think I forgot I had to take it altogether.  Yes, I played four years of collegiate soccer and I am still required to take a gym class to graduate.  I may have told you this before, but even though I love soccer I wanted to take badminton or something different for my gym credit.  I kept putting off scheduling it to try and get in a class with one of my teammates and here we are the last semester before graduation in soccer together haha  Class policy: miss more than 2 classes and fail.  Wouldn't it be awful yet funny if I couldn't graduate because of soccer class---won't be missing anymore of those!  Ok Ok more pics from the trip where I didn't have to worry about things like soccer class and loans...

I liked the intersections along A1A (Atlantic Ave.) they had flower designs with colored bricks.  Two pictures below are from the Cruisin' Cafe in the background.  Their burgers were great!  And they had pictures of every item in the menu.  The booths were made of parts of race cars and they had all kinds of Daytona 500 stuff on the walls.

 Brittney and my burger :P

Krystal and I with the spring break shirts we bought the one day it was cloudy and we decided to go shopping!

Steph trying on some sweet shades---

A couple more things about Florida ... We found the best place to go at night.  It was right on the beach and had a huge outdoor area where we could dance in the sand.  If you've read my blog for awhile or know me--you know I love dancing!  It was a blast!  Also I had the best chocolate milk EVER---it was called Velda (if anyone finds it around here--Let Me Know!).  I played bocce ball on the beach with some Daytona college kids and went to one of our ODU Baseball games too.  Erin and I realized today that we didn't take any pictures when we saw each other at the game--over 200 pictures and we don't have 1 together!  We got to hang out with a few of the guys after their game before they left to fly home.  All-in-all great trip and definitely worth the money!  I hope the end of college doesn't mean the end of fun trips like that!
