fall break definitely couldn't have come at a better time!
finally fall break! time to relax!!
This week definitely did not go according to plan...Okay, so I drive the Sunny 95 Treat Truck.
Monday- Take the truck to an assited living center. Didn't realize that the top of my truck hit the top of their underpass. So, a guy comes out, tells me, and makes me come with him to see the 'damage'. I took not even the size of my palm off the top of this underpass and it was so poorly made, it looked like it was tapped! So, that was day 1.
Tuesday- Take my econ midterm. Little harder than I expected. Guess it would've been better if I had read on the study guide to study ALL other study guides, not only the last chapters we had covered. GOOD PART OF TUESDAY...went to Fahlgren for the day. Fahlgren is the place where I want to get an intership SO bad. I babysit two girls, and their mom works in the marketing division. I absolultely LOVED the company. They took me out to lunch, got to sit in on a conference call and also be a part of a meeting. It was a great day, and she told me that she'd make sure my resume got into the right hands for the summer internship...YAY!
Wednesday- Another day with the Treat Truck. This time...muffler falls off and is dragging on the ground while I'm driving to my next company. I see all these kids and they're holding their ears because the noise is so loud. I finally get to the Hilliard Bus Garage (my promo event site for the day) and some guy looks under the truck and sees the muffler. So, he crawls under the truck and fixes it for me. THANK GOODNESS he was there, or there was no way I was getting back to the station with the muffler dragging on the ground. So, after these two unfortunate incidences with the Treat Truck, my boss tells me a couple stories about interns and the infamous Treat Truck. My favorite...guy takes it through a car wash, gets it stuck. They have to take the air out of the tires in order to actually get it out! HAHA so I guess mine wasn't so bad. She told me that it happens and it's just a part of the job...phew.
The rest of the week wasn't too bad, but still, the beginning of my week made it turn into a horrible week from the start!
OSU beat Kent State...saw that one coming! Had to work the tailgate for that at the Plaza Gate, a non-alcohol tailgate with Supergames. REALLY cold and REALLY busy! Props to Kentucky too...beating the #1 team LSU! AND with Cal losing...look who's going to be on top?! lol by default...but who cares! Our Panthers came out with another blow out! 62-17 win over Marian College...7-0! Not bad boys! Another good weekend for football!
Today, we had a baseball visitation so I had to give a tour to some prospective baseball players. I know a lot about it not only because my boyfriend plays, but also because my brother used to play and I'm really close with most of the guys. So good morning, now my Sunday afternoon is getting caught up on homework and chores around the house...lol I know, I lead such an exciting life. haha Hopefully Chris and I will get the chance to go out to a pumpkin patch and pick pumpkins...we've been talking about that! Should be fun if it is able to happen!
