gloomy sunday
What a gloomy day. Definitely feels like a Sunday because all I want to do is crawl in my bed and watch a movie, too bad there's homework to get done! I'm trying to get caught up on all my projects and papers before Thanksgiving because I'm going up to Valparaiso with my boyfriend. I'm really looking forward to a break without school and away from Ohio. I'll clue you in on what how much stuff I have to do...

Okay, so only a select few are really due this week, but like I said, I want to get them done as soon as I can.
This week our Pledge Class had our Professional Event and it went EXTREMELY well. We went to my sted-dads office, he works at the CW, and got a tour of the place. The Brother's really enjoyed it and said it was the best Pledge Professional Event they've been to (patting myself on the back). Along with this event, we also had a social event because it was our fraternity's 100th Birthday on Wednesday. 100 years ago on November 11, 1907, Delta Sigma Pi was founded (one of my questions on my test, EASY ONE!)
The day before that, we had a "Speed Networking" Event for PRSSA and it was AWESOME! I met with about 6 or 7 companies with representatives from their PR departments. Definitely got to meet a lot of those faces who I want to be meeting at this point in my educational career. Sent my resume out to a couple of companies for possible internships so we'll see how that goes. I can't believe how close I'm getting to being a senior...it's very strange.
Speaking of internships, still haven't heard from LimitedBrands...BUT I remembered that the Victoria Secret Fashion Show went on this past week so they flew out to LA, so hopefully (keeping my fingers crossed) I'll get a call this week.
Found time last night to watch a movie after I got off from a long day at work; Finding Forrester. Great movie. It's about writing, so I was really interested in it and actually learned a little from it as well. If you haven't seen it, I'd reccomend it.
The new Angels and Airwaves CD came out this week, and it's really good! If you're Blink, or AA fans, definitely go pick up their CD!
Not going to mention Saturday afternoon...extremely depressing! (You Buckeye fans know what I'm talking about). BUT! Our Panther's made school history by having one, an undefeated season, but also our first Mideast League Championship, so congrats boys!
