last week!

So break is finally coming to an end.  This is our last week before we start classes again on the 22nd.  I gave several tours this past week for admissions and they all were amazed as to how long our break is this year.  Now that classes are approaching, back to the hectic schedule of class, work, homework, internships, meetings, etc.  On top of all that, I have to buy all my books for this semester...not cheap.  I saw that just for my english class, we need 6!  Guess I have a lot of reading coming my way!  Luckily, I'm taking two classes with two of my roommates so we can share books and split the cost.  I'd definitely recommend that if you find yourself in that situation because books can definitely add up! 

Other than getting ready for classes next week, my week has been pretty low key.  I finished a big project that I was assigned at Sunny and was given two Blue Jacket tickets for all my hard work LOL It was hard work though.  I spent a week at the library using the MicroFilm machines gathering all the advertisers in the Columbus Dispatch from January 15 - March 15 2007.  Took a while, but got to present that to the director of sales so that was pretty cool.  At my other internship with Irvin PR, I wrote a couple news releases and had to take some media kits to Kinkos, finally got to take a look at what different media kits look like which was cool. 

As for news at Ohio Dominican...parking lot isn't filled with asphault yet, new dorm is coming along, Lynam Hall's stone is being taken down, so progress, but not the progress that I would like! 

Well this upcoming Saturday I start my first week of Saturday classes, I'll let you know how that goes!  Definitely not looking forward to it though.
