the whole book?!
Well we're done with the first week of classes! It's crazy that we're back and that this is second semester already! Last week was filled with not only classes, but meetings as well...imagine that!
We had our first board members meeting for PRSSA so that we can plan out what we're going to do throughout this semester. The day after, I had to attend a Liaison meeting with the other liaison members from surrounding chapters and go over what we have planned. It was nice to hear what other chapters are doing as well as meeting them and getting to know other chapter members better. We have a lot of great things planned this semester and I can't wait to have our first chapter meeting with the other members to get their input as well as let them know what we're planning to do.
Already have homework, which I guess I should've seen coming, but oh-well, shouldn't be too bad! In my english class today, our professor assigned us the whole book and 2-page response paper due on Wednesday...WOW! Definitely didn't see that one coming and I don't think the rest of the class did either. So, tonight I'll be reading a lot!
One thing that all college students have to go through at the beginning of any semester or quarter is buying books...and I hate it. I spent $30 on a small paperback book with just over 100 pages...seriously?! That's ridiculous. I would definitely reccomend ordering your books off the internet, because $30 for a book that size is a little extreme.
This weekend I took it easy, well kind-of. Had my Saturday class as usual, then worked afterwards. Sunday, I worked all day until my DSP meeting at night. We're starting another recruitment phase and now I get to experience what it's like on the other side of pledging. We have a lot of great things planned and I'm hoping we get a lot of people interested because we're losing A LOT of Brothers. I think over 20 if I remember correctly.
My roommate and I are already planning spring break. We're going back down to Florida to our friends house! Haven't decided whether we're driving or not, but I'm sure we'll figure that out soon. We like going down obviously for the nice, warm weather, but also to watch our baseball team play! We did this last year and it was a great time! Nothing better than laying in the sun and watching baseball! Here are some pictures from last year!

Well I hope everyone has a great week! Catch ya next week!
Take care-
