LOVE my internship!

So, it's been a busy week at work!  But great!  I love the fact that I pretty much have something to do the entire time I'm there.  I've been working on a couple different releases and I can definitely say I don't think I've ever learned this much about medical stuff ever!  So it's a learning experience for PR and the medical world.  My team is so great.  My supervisor is just a few years older than me and we already get along.  The fact that she loves the Hills and American Idol makes it really easy! :)

Unfortunatley, last weekend wasn't the best for the ODU baseball team out in Idaho.  They lost the first two games, but as always, Chris makes it in the papers...TWO DIFFERENT TIMES!  For those of you who don't know, the media LOVES Chris, and he's going to love me talking about this, but it's so true.  He was interviewed last year for his blog, which he's doing again next year may I add, and then he was pictured in several different markets and also on 60 minutes.  So, adding a couple pictures in Idaho just makes it that much worse...he loves it! LOL Although they lost the first two, it seems like they had a great time and after the 24-hour trip home...I'm glad they're back!

This weekend was Memorial Day so I had a couple days off so I spent them with my family.  Worked out, hung out, went to breakfast, etc. It was a nice relaxing day with them.  On Memorial Day, I went up to Apple Valley with my roommate.  Her aunt and uncle have a house up there on the lake so it was nice to sit out by the lake and relax.

Next week is going to be super busy at work, so I'm glad I have Sunday off this weekend so I can just lay back and actually start packing.  We move in less than 3 weeks, so I'm slowly getting things together.

Other than that, nothing else is really going on!  Just work 8:30-5 everyday, Supergames on the weekend, and time to myself at night, which I haven't had for a while.  It's weird...I haven't had this for a while with all my meetings for PRSSA and DSP, so it's a definite change of pace.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!  We've definitely had some great weather!  :)

Take care-
Erin
