the end is near
School is almost out and things are getting a little busy.
There is a little girl at the school I do early experience at and she is sooooo cute. She looks like she should be my daughter. We have the same middle name and favorite color. Just thought I should share that. Lol
Thursday P.A.C got a group called Recycled Percussion to come in and perform. It was great. Their instruments were made from old buckets and bins. They were all tapped up together. The main drummer was amazing and had a lot of skill. He is one of the fastest they said. I enjoyed their performance.
The only bad thing was I took the little boy I baby-sit to watch also and he did not like it because it was so loud.
Friday was ODU Day; it was a lot of fun. I heard in the past that it is usually a big deal and a lot of people actually showed up. There was..
-dunking booth
-fake tattoos
-blow ups
-raffle prizes
-games and more
It was a fun time. It was real beautiful outside and then it started raining and everyone ran inside in dining hall. It was not regular dinner. The dining staff made ribs, hot dogs, potato salad, funnel cakes and hot pretzels.
The best part of ODU day was the Powder Puff game. It was freshman and sophomores against juniors and seniors. Of course the upperclassmen cheated. They always had too many players on the field and they were being more physical then allowed.
We heard that they would try to tackle but out coaches told us to not make the first move. They were holding our shirts and pushing us down. I can get pretty physical so I do not let any one push me around so I started being forceful. I really did not care about the refs any more because they were very absurd. I will not comment on their performance because it was absolutely unacceptable. We all know that it was just a powder puff game but it still deserves to be played fair.
All together the weekend went okay. My body was pretty sore from the game so I was not interested in going out at all.
