Boardness + Harry Potter Fans = You Tube Video
How-do-you-do,
Hey peoples, how goes your
week? Mine was pretty good; it was
filled with the usual rigmarole, with the added bonus of being sickly. I was very glad to take a prescription for my
sinus infection and have the least amount of misery possible. I am still not back up to 100% but I am well
on my way. So my classes are going
pretty good, I am getting a little bit behind on some reading, but I think I
can catch-up this week. I really like my
marketing class; we have covered some topics that I found quite stimulating. I also like my survey of computers course, I
am actually learning a lot, I usually just breezed through computer courses in
high school, but the ones I have taken at ODU have been really good.
I have been uber energized about the
formation of the Food Service Task Force, which I am forming in conjunction
with Student Development. This is one of
the coolest parts of being Student Government President, if you see a need for
something you can actual start working toward a solution. The Task Force will be made up of students,
staff, and administrators, with the goal of planning for future food service policy,
including, meal plans, and making purchases with the student ID card. The Task Force will also handle the
day-to-day dinning concerns that members of the ODU community may have; it will
be very nice to have. I think my
favorite part is that it is a “Task Force”, I just don’t know how much cooler
it could get.
Finally, why such a title? Well Sunday night I was just sitting in my
room, minding my own business, when Phill, Nate, Ellen, and Kayla came knocking
and decided that my room was not complete with-out, what I believe was all the confetti
in a three mile radius, they came in and it was like a snow storm. It was all quite exciting. Then, came what we are all calling the next
big You Tube video. As we are all Harry
Potter fans, with the exception of Phill (who we are converting), we decided to
re-make the Potter Puppet Pals video “Mysterious ticking noise”. We called ourselves the Potter People Pals,
and it is pretty cool. It is funny even
if you have not seen the original, I am posting the link
here, I encourage all of you to watch our late night silliness. We are planning on doing another, with better
lighting, just enjoy this in the mean time.
Later all,
Jeremiah
P.S. Casting note: This was cast perfectly, Phill as Snape and Voldemort, Ellen as Dumbledore, Nate as Ron, Kayla as Hermione, and me as Harry.
