Class Starts

Hey,

I hope that everyone had a good Martin Luther King Jr. Day, mine was quite hectic, we had the largest Admission open house so far this year.  I gave two quite large group tours, and then an additional individual tour.  So all in all I was working and touring from 8:30 until 3.  It was a good day though, everyone seemed to like the campus quite a bit and I hope that I will see some of them on campus in the fall, or the year after since some of them were juniors.  It is so great to meet prospective students and their families, I really hope that I can make a positive impact on students choice in an institute for higher education.

Over the weekend we had Re-Fresh, the second semester orientation.  On Sunday night we took the freshman to Super Games, and had a Survivor challenge.  It was a ton of fun, I my team was “America” , we did pretty well however we were not the overall winner.  We did however have the most team spirit!

So classes start today, Tuesday the 22nd.  I have my accounting class followed by work.  Well, before accounting I have a meeting with the General Manager for Food Service to discuss a few items.  I am not quite sure how I feel about having class again.  I have really enjoyed the time at ODU without classes.  It is very peaceful to fulfill my meetings and just see my friends.  But yet I am excited to jump back in and start classes again.

So as I begin my classes I will keep you up to date on how they all go.

Have a great week!!!

Jeremiah
