Mission Statment

Hello All-

            I hope that you all have been well.  I have been busy.  Over the weekend we had what some called a blizzard.  Over two days we broke the record for all of march’s snow fall.  There was a lot of snow!  Really-a-lot!  I really enjoyed playing in the snow and even went skiing on Sunday.  Also over the weekend I worked on the set for the spring musical.  It is coming along but I still have quite a bit of work to do.  So I am keeping busy with many things as usual.

A big thing right now is the Student Government elections.  I have composed a new Mission Statement for the organization and it is below:

The Student Government of Ohio Dominican University, being composed of elect members of the student body, serve as leadership for the full student body and operate as a liaison connecting the Students, Administration, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni. Student Government exists for the purpose of empowering students, to promote excellence in student leadership, and pledge to personal development though the Dominican experience. Through loyalty and a devotion to the University, Student Government is committed to the concerns of students and will achieve the betterment of higher education and student life at Ohio Dominican University.

            It is still a work in progress, but we are using it in the current marketing campaign for elections.  So I will keep you updated on all the elections process.
