Easter
Hello
All!
I
hope that you have all been well; it has been some time since my last blog. Are you enjoying in the splendor of the Easter
Season as much as I am? The forty days
of the Lenten season are over and now we will rejoice in the sixty days of
Easter. I for one am glad that Easter
has come; this will be a great Easter season where we can rejoice in the Lord. I plan on taking the occasion to replenish my
faith and come closer to the Lord.
This is a thought from americancatholic.com: Take your time
today. Pray and give thanks and adore the risen Christ, alive with His divinity
but above all in His humanity, in His Body and Blood in the Eucharist, alive in
the eyes of charity in all who suffer. Say it over and over to yourself. Christ
is risen. He is truly risen.
It
is important that we think of what we went through during lent, and that will
make the splendors of Easter even sweeter.
Here at ODU we will be celebrating our Easter Mass this Sunday. We will also be bringing our elect though
RCIA into the Catholic Church. It has
been amazing to see the journey that our elect have taken these past few
months. It is truly inspiring,
especially for me who was raised Catholic, to see how strong their faith and
trust in the Lord is. I have really seen
the power of the Lord in these people and it makes me want to strengthen my own
faith. It is important that we don’t get
caught up in our daily lives, and that we remember the sacrifice the Christ
made for us.
I
pray that you are all well,
Jeremiah
