Set Progress Report
Salutations,
How
are you all doing? Had a good week?
Anything exciting going on? I have been
keeping busy as usual. As of last today
we are t-minus 17 days (13 rehearsals) from the spring musical. Ahhh!!!!
We are very close, and there is still a lot to get done. I am pretty confident at where we are at in
the building and design process, we have all the pieces built, now we just have
to finish the painting and such. The
colors are pretty good, I will post pictures as I get each piece done. The largest accomplishment has been the
thrust from the stage, my family came done on Palm Sunday and we built a 16 by
16 feet extension. In the center is an
empty square where the band will go. It
is a truss based structure and as such extremely sturdy, most of the musical
numbers will take place on it, as well as a few other things. I also have run all the sound equipment and cabling
and now I just have to work on the lighting.
We have gotten extra lights to use for the show to light the thrust I
mentioned before. So these will be two
projects for the next few weeks.
In
other news Student Government Elections are underway, Christina and I are
working together to get everything figured out on that front. So I will keep you up-to-date as news come
in.
Have a great week
and God Bless,
Jeremiah
