ODU Day

Hello Readers-

The year is coming to a close, and I for one can hardly believe it.  On Friday we celebrated ODU Day, a day to celebrate a successful year at this great institution.  I have included some pictures of the events.  Everything took place on the heart of our campus, the oval.  It was a great day.

 The Flag Ceremony:

Every Year on ODU Day we take down the Freshmen Class flag the was put up during Freshmen orientation, and put up the Senior Class flag that will fly through graduation.  Bishop Griffin, Dean Reed, and VP Jamie Caridi all said a few words, both to congratulate the seniors and some words of wisdom for the freshmen.

Fun and Games:

We had all sorts of inflatable games and carnival activities going on.  Slides, boxing, sumos, dunk tank, and many many other things for haveing fun.

Balloon Fun, Bishop Griffin, Pope Benedict, St. Frances; along with Nicole, Amanda, and myself.

The company that made balloon animals and characters never had such request.  It all started when Jonathon got St. Thomas Aquinas,  and from there came a plethora of balloon Saints and Theologians. And let us not forget our very own Pnterim-President, Bishop Griffin, and His Holiness the Pope.

ODU Day was such a great time, a true time of celebration.

Have a great week!

Jeremiah
