Howdy!

Hope everyone’s week and weekend was fabulous! I know mine could have been a lot better if the HUSKIES could have just won! So devastating! I thought that after the first half we were going to pull off an upset, but the Buckeyes pulled through and ended up killing them.

It was a pretty laid-back weekend and week. CONGRATS to all of our ODU teams that are doing awesome! Shout out to the girl’s soccer team for staying undefeated!

Last weekend my mom went to the San Juans and they saw Orcas up there, she said it was pretty intense and that they were jumping everywhere. The main reason they were up there was to fish. So my mom was worried about catching an Orca I know it might sound ridiculous and you would think that they are incredibly smart to take some ones or a fish that is on the line. Not the case. Apparently a guy was fishing then all of a sudden… BOOM! The guys line takes off and there is an Orca on the end of the line. So what do you do when you catch an Orca? Well you don’t reel it in that’s for sure. The guy ended up cutting the line and losing his bait and fish..

Since I have been here I have noticed many are different from home, like food. I have noticed that in Columbus anyways you guys don’t have a Taco Time, Jack in the Box, Taco Del Mar, and an Alfy’s. If you guys have never heard of these places, you should probably try and find one, well not so much Alfy’s its not that great of pizza, but otherwise check them out they are the BEST!!
