Da Bears...

Howdy!

Well this weekend we went to the windy city, well I don’tthink that we were actually in Chicago. To be honest I’m not really sure wherewe were but we were in Illinois, and in the town that is the summer home of theBears, so we must have been somewhere close to Chicago. Anyways those are justminor details, to get to this place in Illinois we had to drive approximatelysix hours. At first you think wow six hours I will be ok, I can sleep or listento music and on this bus we had TVs so that what good. So we started out thisadventure and we watched Remember the Titans and then we stopped for dinner ata buffet, it was pretty good with lots of options. We then got back on the busand watched Enchanted, which by far is the best Disney fairytale I have seen ina long time!! So good I definitely recommend it. I thought I would take a napbut I didn’t and it was kind of disappointment. We eventually got to ourdestination, but all these crazy states have their own idea on what time itshould be, so it was ten in Chicago and eleven at home. So confusing.

On Friday we played two games. Before we could play thosegames though we had to conquer the cold. It was so cold and the wind was justcutting through us. We got through it and we won the first one; the team webeat had only lost one game before us. It was a pretty good win for us. We thenlost the second game but they were a good team and we learned a lot from thegame. The next day we had to get up super early and get to the field, it wassuch a nice day out that no one minded. The sun was shining and it was actuallywarmer than the day before. We ended up losing both games on Saturday but weplayed really well and learned a lot from the weekend and showed us how much wehave improved.

The trip back was quite the adventure, people startedgetting cabin fever about three hours in and it was pretty much nothing wecould do about it. I mean we are on a bus we can’t do anything. Then the girlson the back of the bus discovered that one of the other girls had speakers forthe their ipod. The last hour of the trip was very loud and the girls were justbusting it out.

Come watch us play this week!

It is supposed to be nice and warm!
