Last game.....

After going undefeated all year long, and beating the number 2 teams two weeks in a row, we lost our first game and ended our run at a National Championship. We came into our National quarterfinal game vs. Missouri Valley knowign what they were all about and what they were capable of. We knew all their tendencies and how they played. We knew it all, we just didn't play like it. Our defense had trouble stopping their running game and our offense turned the ball over too much. It wasn't Panther football, we looked like a different team out there.

I had a great first year experience though. I was fortunate enough to make the travel squad and dress for every game this year as a freshmen. I got a little bit of playing time but as an athlete and competitor, I always wanted more. There was a senior, and captain, in front of me so I knew I would be limited. Next year I think and hope I will get a lot more.

Even though we lost and we're not playing anymore, it couldn't have come at a better time. I have so much to do this week for school and now that I have more free time, I can take my time on these things and not stay up late the night before they're do. I figured it would be like this with finals coming up. I have a projects and powerpoints and papers due in all my classes, it's insane. But like I said, I have plenty more time to complete them so they should all turn out good. Ontop of that, I have finals in two weeks that I need to start studying for. Wish me luck!
