Belle of the Ball

Hello!

I am so tired. I have been spending way too much time researching and writing papers. Last week seems like a blur. I really cannot remember what I did other then writing. All my topics for the papers are not that interesting and I find it hard to motivate myself. It is especially hard now because the term is almost over and I am getting closer to going home. I cannot wait to go back and have it be summer. The weather here has been cold, windy, and rainy. When I started to walk to class yesterday, it was cold, but the sun was out. After I made it up the massive hill to campus, it started to pour. I was not prepared and got soaked. The sun was out while I was getting wet and I saw a rainbow! 

I finished one of my papers over the weekend and still have three more left. I did not spend the whole weekend writing a paper. On saturday, my university housing hosted a ball. I was not going to go at first because I did not want to spend the money, but one of my flatmates convinced me. I was a bit stress about it at first because I did not have a dress or shoes. I got to borrow them from my flatmate and one of my friends. It was a blast. I saw a ton of people I knew and caught up with my RV companions. There was a band called "The Noodles" playing. There were pretty good. I danced all night and my feet were killing me at the end. Dancing in high heels is a bit painful for a long period of time.

I have another paper due this friday. I actually started this paper last week. That's scary. I am not waiting to the last minute to write it.

I hope that all the ODU people have a wonderful summer and safe travels. I am jealous you are done with school this week. I still have three more weeks of classes then a MONTH for exams. I only have one exam in that month. I have no idea what I am going to do with myself. That will be a story for another day!
