Residence Life
CURRENT Resident Students
If you are required to live on-campus and are not planning to for 2008-2009, you must complete the Housing Exemption Form (printed copies available in the Residence Life Office). Failure to complete this form will result in housing costs being applied to your student account. Students with more than 56 credit hours who do not sign up for housing will be considered commuters and need to contact the Financial Aid Office (ER 147).
- All full-time students are required to live on-campus if:
- Freshman and Sophomore students; have completed less than 56 credits; lived 4 semesters on campus
- Not living with parent/guardian at their permanent address within 40 mile radius
- Freshman and Sophomore athletes who receive athletic scholarship money, regardless of home address. Failure to live on-campus will result in forfeiting the grant.
Selection Process begins March 24 and ends April 10, 2008:
- Pay the $150 housing deposit to the Business Office (ER 133).
- Decide where and with whom you will be living:
- Siena Hall – Honors and Spiritual Wellness housing
- Aquinas, Lynam, Sansbury Halls
- We now offer SUPER SINGLES in all of our Halls. The SUPER SINGLE is an existing double/suite room, which is offered as a single for a mere $500 more per semester.
- Bring your housing deposit receipt to the Residence Life (Sans 104) to receive/complete your HOUSING CONTRACT and LOTTERY NUMBER. Your lottery number will determine when you select a room on selection night. Lowest number goes first. The lottery will be held by seniority.
- Attend Room Selection Night
April 8 - Singles and super singles
April 9 & 10 - Selection of suites in Aquinas and Lynam Halls and doubles in Sansbury Hall.
Students who are not able to be present for their selection session will need to have a student represent them and provide a proxy form, signed by the absent student, in order to get a room that night. Proxy forms are available in the Residence Life Office, Sansbury 104.
Room Selection Nights:
Singles/Super Singles – All classes Tuesday, April 8 @ 7 PM in Colonial Room
Suites/Doubles: Current Upperclassmen - Wednesday, April 9 @ 7 PM in Colonial Room
Suites/Doubles: Current Freshmen - Thursday, April 10 @ 7 PM in Colonial Room
Anyone not previously signed up - Friday, April 11; 9AM – 4PM Res. Residence Life Office
Theme Housing applications are available in the Residence Life Office (Sans 104) on-line and are to be returned to the office by the deadline indicated below. Students will not be able to participate in a second selection process (i.e., a student cannot try for a Sansbury single room if he/she has already been assigned to Siena during that theme selection process). All students must pay a room deposit and complete a housing contract. Students who apply and are not selected for the theme housing must attend the proper room selection night.
Doubles: $3800 per semester
Singles/Suites: $4100 per semester
Super Singles: $4600 per semester
