American Legion Oratorical

Alva Taylor Memorial Scholarship
The Franklin County Farm Bureau will award approximately $10,000 in Alva Taylor Memorial Scholarships for the college year 2007-2008. Indivdual awards will start at a minimum of $500. Burger King Scholars
Student must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Work an average of 15 hours per week for 40 weeks per year. Demonstrate participation in community service and/or co-curricular activities. Must have financial need. Must obtain written recommendations/signatures from a school official and employer not related to the student. Recommendations are part of the application form no separate letters are required.
