Ohio Dominican University has named students to the President’s Society for the 2017-2018 academic year. The President’s Society recognizes students who have the passion and purpose to lead and serve ODU and the community.
The 2017-18 members of the President’s Society include: Noah Bland, Psychology, Oberlin; Ben Casanova, Business Administration, Sylvania; Carlene Clouse, Biology, Thornville; Ashley Gray, Public Relations & Marketing Communications, New Richmond; Drew Hudson, Exercise Science, London; Emily Hardman, Intervention Specialist, Lewis Center; Olivia Philpot, Public Relations & Marketing Communications, Trenton, New Jersey; Bethany Sheldon, Exercise Science, Bellbrook; and Rebecca Vogt, Sport Management, Canal Winchester.
These students join Makayla Crenshaw, Social Work, Columbus; Austin Ernst, Communication Studies, Cold Spring, Kentucky; Clayton Hildebrand, Biology, Findlay; Alexis Haynes, Psychology, Mechanicsburg; Allison Pavlik, International Business, Warren; Jacob Poe, Software Engineering, Columbus; Tristan Rock, Accounting, Zanesville; Madison Wells, Early Childhood Education, London; and Theresea Varrasso, Political Science, Newark, who are returning to the President’s Society.
Members of the President's Society are sophomores, juniors and seniors who have achieved at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate commitment to ODU through sustained leadership in co-curricular involvement, service and engagement in community events. They serve as representatives of the Office of the President and ODU at a variety of important events, including major university functions such as convocation and commencement.
