Students are encouraged to act on problems, complaints, and grievances in a constructive manner. Normal channels of communication ought to be used as the first mode of seeking resolution. 

It is the student’s right to follow all the steps outlined in the Student Handbook and Planner in the section titled, “Student Problem Resolution.”

  • First, please file a complaint with Ohio Dominican University per the Student Problem Resolution guidelines set forth in the Student Handbook.
  • If an issue cannot be resolved internally, you may file a grievance with the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Students may also contact our accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission.
