Each year, the ODU community explores one of the themes of our Core CurriculumThe theme for the 2016-17 academic year is Being Human.
The theme of Being Human will be discussed and emphasized through classroom assignments, discussions, common readings and community service.

ODU's Office of Academic Affairs and the Center for Dominican Studies will also host talks and lectures throughout the year to provide opportunities for the community to engage in conversation about Being Human.
