Why did you choose to attend Ohio Dominican University?
I chose to attend Ohio Dominican University because an alumna from ODU was my mentor in high school and she told me about the amazing opportunities that this university has to offer. I also chose ODU because of the great networking it has with Mount Carmel, which will help me achieve my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner.

How do you stay involved at ODU?
As a writing tutor, I get to meet a lot of really great students on campus and I really enjoy being able to help people. I also recently joined the Leadership for Peace program here at ODU. I am very excited to get involved and meet new people.

What is your most memorable moment at ODU?
My most memorable moment at ODU was being a cheerleader during my freshman year and meeting some of my closest friends. Cheering for the football and basketball teams was an honor and I enjoyed all the road trips and memories that we made.

What do you want to do after graduation?
After graduation I plan on pursing my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. I plan on attending grad school at Mount Carmel after I earn my RN-BSN.

What is one unique experience you've had at ODU that has helped you grow personally, professionally and/or spiritually?
One unique experience that I have had at ODU is being able to have a great connection with all of my professors. I love that Ohio Dominican is a smaller university and that all of my professors genuinely care about not only my academic success but also me as a person.

Share an example or story of how you discovered your passion at ODU.
I was a member of the Ohio Dominican cheerleading program during my freshman year. While it was a difficult decision to give up cheerleading, the experiences with my professors help me discover my passion for science and helping people. I want to be able to focus on my academics so I reach my ultimate goal of becoming a nurse.

Why are you proud to be an ODU student?
I am proud to be an ODU student because this is a great university that gives every student here amazing opportunities. I can always count on my professors to help me and encourage me. ODU has helped me grow not only in my academics but also in my personal life. It's always a great day to be a panther!
