Why did you choose to attend Ohio Dominican University?

I chose to attend Ohio Dominican University because of its fantastic resources, both with regard to its academics and athletics. I also really enjoy the small-campus feel in a big city, such as Columbus.

How do you stay involved at ODU?

I stay involved at ODU by participating on the baseball team and in different campus events. These experiences have helped me learn to understand and respect connections within the student body and also the diversity we have here at ODU.

What is your most memorable moment at ODU so far?

My most memorable moments have come from playing baseball and representing ODU in every game we play. One moment in particular was when our baseball team swept West Liberty State on a walk-off home run. It was truly an unforgettable moment, and not only was it great for the baseball team, but it was a great moment to represent Ohio Dominican.

What is one unique experience you’ve had at ODU that has helped you grow personally, professionally and/or spiritually? Why?

A unique experience that has helped me grow as a person was when I started doing the Reading Buddy program with our baseball team at Royal Manor Elementary. Seeing fourth graders continually getting excited to read with a baseball player has not only humbled who I am as a person, but it’s made me grateful for the opportunities I have had in my life as well as during my time here at ODU.

How have you discovered your passion at ODU?

Coming to ODU, I really did not have a clear idea of what I wanted to do after attending college. But with the help of my professors and other faculty in my majors, I have developed a passion for my field of study and I plan to pursue that passion in my future career.

Why are you proud to be an ODU student?

I am proud to be a part of such a strong and diverse community of students and faculty. I am also proud to attend such a prestigious institution that has many years of success written in its history.
