First Place - “Louvre” by Georgann Leffler, LEAD MBA student, Paris, France “I was trying to get a good shot of this beautiful building, but when I got home and developed my pictures I noticed the couple in the right hand corner of the picture. The man has his head lying on his girlfriend’s lap and he’s playing with her hair as she’s gazing down at him. I thought it was amazing how it captured the romantic essence you feel while in Paris."

First Place - “Reflections of Pisa” by Jean-Anne Richardson, Cross Disciplinary Studies student in Pisa, Italy “Arno River was reflective of the lovely town of Pisa on my way back to the train station. The evening light was soft yet clear. A nice memory of a special day in Italy."
|
Second Place - "Reflection" by Adina Bogdan, MBA student, Romania “This is a picture of my aunt I took during a visit home. She was a big part of my childhood and now lives alone since her husband passed away. We were talking about loneliness and how difficult life was for her in her old age when I took the picture.”

Second Place - “La Puesta del Sol en el Malecón” (Sunset on the Boardwalk) by Brian L. Best, MBA student, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico “I was simply enjoying a sunset walk along the malecón when the picture presented itself. The sun hitting the water almost provided a path right back to it. The mountains create a perfect backdrop almost blinded out by the sun. The few people enjoy the beach give the picture life.”

Third Place - “That All May Be One” by Nicole Knabe, MA in Theology student, Düsseldorf, Germany “In August of 2005, I took a risk and went alone to World Youth Day in Köln, Germany. It proved to be a fantastic experience of the universal church as I was placed in a group of other volunteers from Germany, France, Argentina, Poland, the Philippines, and Indonesia. I took this photo at a party our group traveled to in Düsseldorf. This image is a prime example of the international community formed during World Youth Day celebrations when youth bring their unique songs and dances to come together as one.”

Third Place - “Tower at Night” by Emily Schnitter, Education student, Tokyo, Japan "Tokyo Tower lights up at night; while not as scenic as the Eiffel Tower its red coloring really makes it stand out in the city."
