Ohio Web
Library
Did you know that all Ohioans have online access to thousands of
popular publications, authoritative research resources, and live
online reference services? It’s true. From the moment anyone
enrolls in an Ohio school or receives a library card, that person
has unlimited access to the
Ohio
Web Library.
The Ohio Web Library is an evolving collection with thousands of
online publications and research resources, including, popular magazines,
trade publications, scholarly research journals, newspapers from
Ohio and the nation, encyclopedias, dictionaries, speeches, poems,
plays, maps, satellite images of Ohio, and more.
If you use the ODU Library’s web site, you are probably using
the Ohio Web Library without even realizing it. In fact, many of
the resources provided in Ohio Web Library have been a part of the
ODU Library’s core electronic collection since July of 2002.
A complete list of resources and services is available from the
Ohio Web Library’s web site at
http://www.ohioweblibrary.org.
Several years ago, Ohio libraries and library organizations banded
together to form Libraries Connect Ohio (LCO). By providing resources
statewide, LCO provides cost-effective information resources to
all Ohioans, regardless of their location, age, education, or economic
status. This not only helps library programs like OhioLINK succeed,
but also ensures your success here at Ohio Dominican University.
Libraries are so cool!
