The Grove Art database is now a part of the new Oxford Art Online, a single gateway that provides cross-searching of Grove Art images and Oxford art reference content in one location.

In addition to thousands of searchable Grove Art images, Oxford Art Online includes art reference titles such as the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, The Oxford Companion to Western Art, and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms.

The database also features new thematic guides on major topics in art history, and new timelines of world art. You can choose to view biographies, subject entries, or images when searching or browsing.

Oxford Art Online's partners include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), Art Images for College Teaching (AICT), and the Artists Rights Society.
