System Upgrades and Downtimes
During late December 2006 and early January 2007, the Library and IS Staff will
make several upgrades to various library systems. Please note
the following scheduled downtimes for both the ODU
Library Catlog and Research
Databases.
Friday, December 15, 2006
The ODU Library Catalog will be unavailable for approximately 2 hours, from 11:00 a.m. EDT
until 1:00 p.m. EDT. Some access may be available during this time, but expect interruptions.
Access to the OhioLINK Library Catalog should be available.
Monday, December 18, 2006
The ODU Library Catalog will be unavailable for approximately
5 hours, from 8:00 a.m. EDT until 1:00 p.m. EDT for a
major software upgrade. Some access may be available during this
time, but expect interruptions. Access to the OhioLINK
Library Catalog should be available.
Wednesday, January 3, 2007
Off-campus access to all Research Databases will be unavailable
all day as our proxy server migrates to new hardware. Some access may be available
during this time, but expect interruptions. Off-campus access to many databases may
be available directly through OhioLINK at http://auth.ohiolink.edu.
