How Do I View Articles in ILLiad?

After you submit your ILLiad request, the following procedures occur to enable you to obtain a copy of the article:

  • ODU library staff will request the article from a library that owns it.
  • You will receive an e-mail notification that an electronic copy of the article is available in your ILLiad account.

Note: This entire process takes about 10 days to complete, so you need to plan your research accordingly if you think you may need to use Interlibrary Loan.

To view a copy of an article requested, go to the ILLiad page, log on, then click on View/Download Electronically Received Articles. Click here to view

Then select the article you wish to view/download.

For security purposes, be sure to exit the system when you are finished in ILLiad.
