How Do I Borrow an Item from OhioLINK?

First, see if your item is AVAILABLE for borrowing. Click on the link to view the libraries that have the item and check to see if your item is available from at least one of the libraries.

Second, make sure that it is NOT available from the ODU Library. Items available already at ODU can not be requested through the OhioLINK Library Catalog by an ODU student, faculty, or staff.

Third, if your item is available, click on the REQUEST THIS ITEM link and follow the steps:

Indicate the school at which you are a student or faculty member and then click the Submit button.

On the next screen, type in your name and the last 7-digits of your ODU ID number exactly as they appear on your ODU ID card.
Click on the Submit above information button to complete the process.
