A comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs. Includes criminal justice, forensics, and Interpol activities.

 

Criminal Justice Abstracts

Indexes the major journals in criminology and related disciplines, as well as books, and reports from government and nongovernmental agencies. For each document, an informative summary of the findings, methodology, and conclusions is provided. Please remember to logout when finished.

Weekly reviews of books and films published by the American Psychological Association. In addition to the latest releases, this database contains a ten-year backfile of Contemporary Psychology book reviews, browsable by author/editor, book/film title, or publication year.

 

PsycINFO
Covers journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations, and technical reports in the field of psychology and the psychological aspects of related disciplines, including law. Updated weekly. Please remember to logout when finished.

Finding Periodicals in this Library

 

 

How Do You Find Out if a Periodical Exists in this Library?

 

·          Use the ODU Library Catalog to search for the title of the journal or newspaper you’re trying to find. 
Choose a TITLE search and type in the title of the journal or newspaper you desire.

 

The library's recent journals and magazines may be (1) in print in the top-floor Periodicals section, arranged alphabetically by title, or (2) in microfilm in cabinets behind the Periodicals section. 
Back issues in print (usually prior to 1960) are located in the Back Issues Room on the bottom floor.
