Coverage includes journals, books, and conference papers. Some publications indexed as far back as the beginning of the twentieth century.

 

Electronic Journal Center

Full text.   Presents over 4300 research journals, covering numerous subject areas.

 

ERIC

ERIC is the U.S. Department of Education's Educational Resource Information Center database which contains citations and abstracts from over 980 educational and education-related journals and full text of more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information.  Updated quarterly.

 

 

Social Sciences Citation Index (ISI Web of Science)

Citations. Indexes articles of scholarly journals from 50 disciplines of the social sciences, with searchable author abstracts and a unique feature that enables searching of articles that cite a known author or work. Choose a TITLE search and type in the title of the journal or newspaper you desire.

 

·          The library's journals and magazines are located:
 
(1) In print in the Periodicals section on the top floor, arranged alphabetically by title
(2) Back issues in print (usually prior to 1960) in the Back Issues Room on the bottom floor
(3) In microfilm in cabinets behind the Periodicals section
 
A microfilm reader/printer (with free printing!) is also available on the top floor.
