The Third Annual National Honor Society (NHS)

Ohio Conference  

Friday, March 8, 2013  8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  

Cost will be $35 for groups of 1-15 people 

$50 for groups of 16-25 people (maximum of 25 per school)

During last year’s conference, participants noted that this is a great opportunity for NHS student members and advisors to grow their academic skills, network with other chapters, learn from outstanding speakers, and participate in a variety of team-building activities.  The Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) and the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) are also sponsors of this event. 

The conference will feature a national office speaker, Elancia Felder, Program Manager for Honor Societies, NASSP.  Ken Baker, Associate Executive Director for OASSA (Ohio Association of Secondary Schools Administrators) will also make an appearance.     

We are pleased to have Mike & Carole Morbitzer as this year's keynote speakers.  Mike is Assistant Principal at Hamilton Township High School & Carole has received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST).  She is also the 2013 Ohio Teacher of the Year.
