ODU Network Personal Computer Registsration System

To protect the ODU computer network, your computer and all your work from viruses and malware.

If you bring your own personal computer to ODU and to take full advantage of all the information available to you on our network, you must take the following steps:

1. CONNECT

The first time you connect your computer to the ODU network, the system will check your security updates and anti-virus software.

2. UPDATE

If your computer does NOT have the most recent updates, the system will provide step-by-step instructions and guide you through the process of installing them. Note - If you have not regularly updated your personal computer, please be prepared for the time involved in updating.

Helpful Hints:

If you do not have anti-virus software, a student license is available for your use while you are an ODU student at no additional charge. Go to:
