Roxanne Beard, Ph.D. is as an Associate Professor of Management. Prior to joining the University, Dr. Beard was an Associate Professor of Business and Chair of Health Care Administration at the University of Northwestern Ohio.
She received a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Bowling Green State University; an MBA from the University of Findlay; and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University.
She is active in the Academy of Management
Gender and Diversity division as well as the Organizational Behavior Teaching
Society. Currently, she leads a team of researchers in a landmark study
investigating transformational leadership. The study home page can be found at
www.lead-with-pride.com Roxanne’s primary investigations address strategic use of diversity in
the workplace, leadership,
and organizational behavior. Additionally, she is interested in exploring
mindfulness and spirituality as these inform pedagogical practices.
