Biography
John Mascazine, Associate Professor of Education, was a classroom teacher of twelve years at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. His specialty is science education and the integration of mathematics, science, and technology education. His research areas of interest are in learning styles and twins and multiple birth children and their school experiences. He has consulted for schools and twin support organizations locally and nationally. Dr. Mascazine has presented at local, national, and international conferences and continues to write and publish for educational journals. He regularly attends conferences such as those sponsored by the School Science Mathematics Association (SSMA), National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), and International Society for Twin Studies (ISTS). He is also active in presenting workshops for teachers and parents, and enjoys working with local schools and students. Dr. Mascazine has a B.S. in Education from Ohio Dominican and a M.A. and Ph.D. from the Ohio State University.
