Biography
Dr. Kimberly Keller-Miller taught for 18 years in two Ohio school districts. In her last position in the P-12 schools, Dr. Keller-Miller co-wrote and was awarded a $30,000 Ohio Reads Grant for Buckeye Valley East Elementary School in 2001. With the grant, the school purchased children's and teacher's reference texts, assessments, materials for primary classrooms, and technology for individual teachers.
In 2007-2008 Dr. Keller-Miller was an assistant professor at Northern Kentucky University in the College of Education and Human Services. She earned her doctorate in socio-cultural theory, literacy and early childhood at the Ohio State University in December, 2007. Her research interests include emergent literacy, play, early childhood education, and co-teaching. Dr. Keller-Miller resides in Worthington, Ohio with her husband and two teenage children.
