Biography

Dr. John Farlin has taught business at Ohio Dominican University since 1999. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, his Master's in Business Administration from The George Washington University, his Master's in Accounting from George Mason University, and Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Business Administration from Touro University International. Dr. Farlin teaches managerial finance, investments and entrepreneurship finance. Prior to his arrival at Ohio Dominican University, he was employed as a Portfolio Manager for a large regional bank. In 1995, he retired from the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he served aboard nuclear submarines and nuclear cruisers and was the Comptroller of Naval Air Station, Sigonella, Sicily. He is married and has one daughter.
