Biography

Abu Khan, Ph.D., joined Ohio Dominican University as an assistant professor of Finance in 2013. Prior to joining ODU, he taught at Cleveland State University, the University of Houston-downtown and the University of New Orleans. Dr. Khan received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Information System from the University of Windsor, Canada; his master's in International Economics and Finance from Ryerson University, Canada; and his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans. Dr. Khan teaches graduate and undergraduate Finance courses, and is the coordinator of the Finance department. He has published papers in various journals, including the Journal of Emerging Markets and the Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research. Dr. Khan has presented papers at various conferences and conducts research in the areas of corporate finance, financial institutions, corporate governance and monetary policy.
